Frequently Asked Questions

The things clients ask us before signing — answered straight.

How soon can you start?

For renovations, usually within two to three weeks. New builds depend on council approval, but we can begin site establishment as soon as permits are lodged and the contract is signed.

Do you work from my architect’s drawings?

Yes. We price directly from architectural and structural drawings, and we are happy to sit in on design meetings before the drawings are finalised so the budget stays realistic.

Is the quote fixed?

The quoted scope is fixed. Costs only change if you change the scope, or if a genuine unforeseen condition is found — and both are issued as written variation orders before work continues.

Can I live in the house during a renovation?

In most cases yes. We seal off work areas with dust screens, keep at least one bathroom and the kitchen usable where possible, and phase the noisy work.

Do you handle council approvals?

We lodge and follow up building submissions and arrange the required inspections. Your architect or engineer supplies the drawings we submit.

What warranty do I get?

24 months on workmanship from the date of handover, plus the manufacturers’ warranties on all supplied materials and appliances, collated in your handover file.

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes — single bathrooms, boundary walls and small repairs all go through our renovations division with the same contract and warranty.

How do I get a price?

Send us drawings, photos or a description through the quote form. We will arrange a site visit and return a full itemised quotation within 48 hours.
